Wow! Angel is a beauty! She is a stunning alpaca, sporting not 1 or 2 colors, but a whopping 4 colors. A spectacular pattern has her back patched with medium fawn and dark fawn. Her neck and legs are beige and her nose and spots on her neck are brown. This girl has it all! Impeccable conformation, fine vicuna-like fiber, a great topknot, and let’s not forget fabulous staple length! At the age of 8 months old, her fiber is already over 5″ long! She still has 4 more months of fiber growing to do! Her mother and sister both have 5″ staple length, so long staple length runs in the family.

Angel’s dam, Mercy, is a dark fawn girl with color all around to boot. She has lineage to die for with names like,Pperuvian Timoteo, Acero Marka’s Mr. Know It All, and Black Icecapade just to name a few. Her sire, Angel’s grandsire, is a 4x champion dark rose grey out of the one and only, Black Icecapade. Mercy also has a sweet and mellow personality, which she passed down to Angel. Angel’s full name, Mercy’s Angel of Lilymoore Farm, came because of her angelic personality, just like her dam.

Angel’s sire is a champion fawn out of The Monk’s Oliver! For those who don’t know, The Monk’s Oliver is a 4x Champion, white alpaca with over ten first place ribbons to his name. With great fiber comes even better lineage, giving Angel even more fantastic names to add to the gene pool such as, Vyrtual Reality, CPeruvian Opalium, and PPeruvian Guellermo. You can see why Angel is such a beauty!

With all of this going for her, it is obvious why we are going to bring her to the shows. Update: Angel took second place at the Bay State Small Breeder’s Blast!
